Honors Physics- Period 1
9/4/25 - 9/5/25
This is the first week of school so we will be doing introductory assignments and reviewing class rules and expectations.
9/8/25 - 9/12/25
This week is when we will start on physics content, specifically 1-D kinematics
9/15/25 - 9/19/25
This week we will be starting our first laboratory assignment in the kinematics unit and taking the time necessary for data analysis.
9/22/25 - 9/26/25
There is no school on Monday this week due to a waiver day. We will be moving on to freefall this week and likely finishing the motion notes this week.
9/29/25 - 10/3/25
We will be finishing freefall this week and will then move on to the end of the unit activities, which are the homework and test curve packet.
10/6/25 - 10/10/25
We will be completing the test on freefall this week and after that test we will start the vectors and relativity unit
10/13/25 - 10/17/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a PD day for teachers happening on Friday. We will be continuing our study of vectors and relativity this week and starting on the labs for this unit.
10/20/25 - 10/24/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a PD day for teachers happening on Friday. We will be continuing our study of vectors and relativity this week and continuing on the labs for this unit.
10/27/25 - 10/31/25
This week we will be closing out our study of vectors and relativity this week. This includes doing the analysis on both labs and completing the homework and test prep for the unit.
11/3/25 - 11/7/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a waiver day happening on Tuesday of this week. We will be finishing the vectors unit and moving onto projectile motion.
11/10/25 - 11/14/25
This week we will be moving onto projectile motion and further completing the notes and lab for the unit. (UPDATE- Monday was a snow day so there are only 4 days this week)
11/17/25 - 11/21/25
This week we will be performing the experiment over projectile motion and then moving into test preparation for projectile motion.
