

Honors Anatomy & Physiology- Period 5
9/4/25 - 9/5/25
This is the first week of school so we will be doing introductory assignments and reviewing class rules and expectations.
9/8/25 - 9/12/25
This week is when we will start on anatomy content, specifically a review of essential biology knowledge and anatomical terminology.
9/15/25 - 9/19/25
This week we will be starting our first laboratory assignment over anatomical terminology in the form of a simulated autopsy and completing a 2nd experiment as well on homeostasis.
9/22/25 - 9/26/25
There is no school on Monday this week due to a waiver day. We will be having our 1st test this week on Thursday over introductory content and we will also be moving onto tissues this week as well.
9/29/25 - 10/3/25
We will be finishing the tissues unit this week by completing the labs over the unit and the test review questions in preparation for the test next week.
10/6/25 - 10/10/25
We will be completing the test on tissues this week and will also be starting the integumentary system (skin) unit this week as well
10/13/25 - 10/17/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a PD day for teachers happening on Friday. We will be continuing our study of the integumentary system and preparing for the labs on the skin.
10/20/25 - 10/24/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a PD day for teachers happening on Friday. We will be continuing our completion of the lab and final assignments on the skin.
10/27/25 - 10/31/25
This week we will be closing out our study of the skin, taking the test over the skin, and then moving on to the skeletal system unit.
11/3/25 - 11/7/25
This week is a 4 day week due to a waiver day happening on Tuesday of this week. We will be moving onto the labs of the skeletal system this week including constructing compact bone cells, joint charades, and X-Ray analysis.
11/10/25 - 11/14/25
This week we will be further reviewing the skeletal system in preparation for the upcoming test. (UPDATE- Monday was a snow day so there are only 4 days this week)
11/17/25 - 11/21/25
This week we will be reviewing for a test over the skeletal system happening on Wednesday and depending on if time is needed, taking 2 days to finish it. We will then move onto the muscular system.
